The story of an alcoholic and a prostitute doesn't sound like it's going to be too beautiful, does it? But it certainly is. The way the love blossoms between Nicholas Cage and Elizabeth Shue, the sadness and the tragedy...it's all so beautiful. An amazing soundtrack is the icing on the cake.
